About the project
Takeel is a digital system for booking and scheduling tanker trucks that transport petroleum products. It ensures compliance with certification requirements and verifies the validity of licenses issued by the Ministry of Oil. Verification is carried out through checkpoints operated by the Ministry of Interior. The system allows drivers and applicants to book appointments electronically instead of in person. It automates internal administrative procedures for the certifying department. It enables the Ministry of Interior to access relevant data from the Ministry of Oil for verification purposes. It grants access permissions to fuel stations and warehouses as part of the compliance chain. The system is used by all drivers transporting petroleum derivatives along with staff of the certifying department, making it a large-scale operational system.
Use case
Before Takeel, scheduling and certifying petroleum tanker trips relied on manual, in-person procedures across multiple government bodies, creating administrative bottlenecks and delays. Verifying license validity and safety compliance across the Ministry of Oil and Ministry of Interior was slow and difficult to coordinate. Takeel solves this by digitizing appointment booking, automating internal workflows, and enabling direct data access between the two ministries for verification. This reduces administrative pressure in the fuel transport sector and strengthens compliance with safety requirements.
