About the project
Najah is a centralized system for announcing and managing the results of Iraq's sixth-grade secondary and third-grade intermediate exams. It includes a web portal for students, an administrative dashboard for the Ministry, a mobile app for iOS and Android, and a dedicated announcement panel for the Minister. Students can retrieve their results through a public portal using their exam number. The administrative dashboard allows Ministry staff to upload results via Excel. The system displays results with full privacy protection for each student. It limits the number of result lookups per device to three attempts. It includes a live counter tracking visitors and result retrievals in real time. Given the scale of Iraq's student population, the system is designed to handle spikes of up to roughly five million requests per second.
Use case
Before Najah, announcing ministerial exam results at this scale through manual or fragmented channels risked slow access, system overload, and exposure of student privacy. Students had no single reliable channel to check results securely, and the Ministry lacked a unified way to publish and manage results across such large numbers of students. Najah solves this by providing a high-capacity, centralized platform across web and mobile that can handle massive simultaneous demand while protecting each student's privacy. The result is fast, secure, and reliable access to results for millions of students at once, with controlled administrative publishing for the Ministry.
